General

Get a dose of Africa’s wildlife with a 4 day Serengeti luxury safari.

Home of big cats, 500 bird species and wall to wall wildlife, Serengeti might just be what the doctor ordered to cure your mind and soul.

Serengeti happens to be part of the Mara ecosystem, meaning that you can enjoy the wonderful phenomenon that is the Great Migration during your Serengeti luxury safari.

Every year, approximately 1.7 million wildebeest and zebras cross the Grumeti River in search of pasture and mating grounds.

This exodus is not without peril – Nile crocodiles lie in wait on the banks of this river and pounce on the unsuspecting beasts. About 250,000 die from predation, thirst, hunger and exhaustion.

Be that as it may, most of the wildebeests and zebras, about 250,000 in number make it to the other side.

A crocodile’s kill is something to behold but even more important is the migration which happens from May to October, every year.
